Discovered my 13yr son's sports related foot injury was misdiagnosed by another place...and that they Xrayed his foot from the wrong view. Dr. Key is sports oriented even runs triathalon's himself and has a great approach to treating injuries in a reasonable manner. Great listener and explains issues clearly. Easy to follow up with. No air of pomposity or attitude that I've detected with many Doctors and specialists and we've been to a lot because of current & past kid sports related injuries.

Every physician I have seen has taken a history and done a physical exam. Dr Key's assistant asked what my complaint was. I indicated I am on my feet for long hours and my shoes are wearing irregularly and I am feeling some pain. Dr. Key, without examing my foot or observing my gait, told me there was nothing wrong and outright dismissed my concerns. He made up his mind before entering the room that I was a waste of his time. I'm an M.D. and have never summarily dismissed a patient's concerns.

In May of 2016 my father of 91yrs old was told his right foot had to be removeved after an urgent ER admission at Yale. My father would have rather died than loose his foot. Doctor Jonathan J. Key, DPM evaluated the situation and believed he could save the foot. And he did. At 91 years old, a compromised system, a diabetic, and no will to live. Dr J. J. Key managed to debri the heel and captivate and charm the soul of my father back to the point of wanting to live again.Thank you so much.CMB
