I have been going to AD for about 9 months. I have been seeing a wonderful physician there. She sent me to Dr Crane as a 2nd opinion. He did not look at me more than 10 seconds. He gave me the same treatment that I have been on and was completely rude. He told me I had black hairy tongue. This would be a black tongue. I do not have one spot of black on my tongue. He told me I was depressed because I got so mad at him that tears came up in my eyes. I had to ask him to look at some of the places I had in my mouth and nose. It you want attention to your treatment, respect, etc., avoid Dr. Crane.
Absolutely horrible. Tried to make an appointment and took me better part of half an hour even to get the basics established. This is not the local office that answers phone calls, instead some call service in another state that is very difficult to understand. Will go and find another dermatologist, a local one.
I’ve been a patient of Dr.Crane 15 years and I would recommend his services to anyone. He is a great dermatologist and easy to discuss things that concern you.
I learned for the times time in 5 years something about my medication that should have been told to me by my previous doctor. I am very thankful that he and his resident explained this to me.
I can usually expect that there will be something that is found, and I am grateful that Dr Crane is so thorough. At my age, each day is precious and he helps me know that somethings I can control and do something about. When one of my spots is discovered and then dealt with, I feel much more confident that I have done what I can to ensure my health continues to stay good.
He was very informative and easy to talk to. But wish the phone system was set up differently, would prefer to talk to the office personnel directly rather then going thru someone in Texas.
