Chevy Chase, MD |
I was not impressed at all. I went in for shoulder pain. X-rays were taken instead of ordering an MRI, which is the only method of seeing microscopic tears. Dr Rudski wanted to give me a cortisone shot for pain and send me on my way. I felt like he couldn't be bothered with my non-exotic issue. After getting a 2nd opinion, from a competent Dr, 2 tears were found in my tendons. I consider Dr Rudski's treatment a hair away from malpractice. I would not recommend him for any circumstance.

From the cleanliness of the waiting room, to the exam room. From the very first welcoming hello by the receptionist. I was always addressed politely, and given eye to eye contact by all whom I met.I arrived early to my appointment and was surprised to be taken back to the exam room early. A concise interview was conducted, X rays were done without a wait. I was addressed appropriately and politely. Dr. Rudzki was thorough & to the point. I felt listened to and cared for.

It is my pleasure to provide feedback from my recent experience with Dr. Jonas Rudzki and his staff at Washington Orthopeadics and Sports Medicine (WOSM). I received shoulder surgery recently to repair two torn tendons and Dr. Rudzki and his staff were outstanding. They are professional, courteous, and extremely caring and considerate of their patients. I cannot provide enough praise for them and am grateful for their incredible care. I am well on my way to recovery!!!!

I've had both rotator cuffs evaluated and surgically repaired by Dr. Rudzki. He is an expert at making the most of what's left in your shoulder to help you get back as much functionality as possible. I always take a list of questions in with me, and he answers all of them. The support staff is professional and takes good care of you.

Thoughtful, caring doctor. Felt very comfortable.

Dr. Rudzki repaired my rotator cuff. Two years later I'm back to yoga and golf. Better than ever! Very professional, extremely knowledgeable AND spent the time to get to know me as a patient. Strongly recommend!

Dr Rudzki performed arthroscopic knee surgery after I tore my ACL playing soccer. I travel frequently for work and he helped coordinate my rehab/PT in DC, New York, LA and London! All his recommendations were excellent and his staff very helpful and knowledgable. World class surgeon

For me, running is essential to managing the stress of law school. When I learned I completely tore my ACL while training for the Marine Corp Marathon, I recall stating “I couldn’t afford surgery”. Dr. Rudzki exceeded his promise to help me. He was compassionate, understanding and managed to keep me from pushing too hard and jeopardize my healing. Despite my concern that he was “out-of-network”, he was very generous. The cost was amazing for the excellent care. Tomorrow I run a sprint triathlon.

Our pediatrician recommended Dr. Rudzki after my 17year old son dislocated his arm, resulting a lesion in his shoulder. Dr. Rudzki spent an hour discussing shoulder instability. He explained how he uses current medical research, including studies from professional athletes, to guide his patients' rehab. Dr. Rudzki spoke personally with my son's physical therapist, lacrosse coaches, and even his math teacher. He truly understood all aspects of treating high school athletes
in Washington, DC |
Dr. Rudzki replaced my shoulder. After years of horrid pain, my new shoulder is totally, absolutely remarkable! No pain! No stiffness and discomfort, no pain!
in Washington, DC |
After a weekend of pain, I called on Monday morning and had an appointment by noon! He immediately correctly diagnosed the problem, but to be sure ordered an MRI which confirmed it. A second appointment later that week resulted in the initial treatment. He took more time than I expected to answer all questions. He showed a sincere interest in me as a patient. And while they don't take my insurance they submit all the paperwork for reimbursement to me!
in Washington, DC |
Long wait time to be seen, felt rushed through the appointment, did not feel all my concerns were addressed, did not receive sufficient explanation of issues. Given that the office does not take my (and many other insurances), I would have expected a MUCH higher level of service. I paid $330 for the visit and received the same level of service I can expect from Kaiser.
