Dr. Hulst attended medical school and did his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of California, San Diego. He completed a fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, where he trained with internationally recognized leaders in joint replacement. His experience focused on minimally invasive surgical techniques, rapid recovery protocols, revision replacement surgery, and complex primary joint reconstruction. Dr. Hulst enjoys spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and two children. His interests include snowboarding, skiing, camping, and running."
