came for a broken clavical and complications regarding my shoulder. He did not once look at my should but depending on the x-ray. I came in crying from pain and emotional... after he told me “stop being a whimp and suck it up,” I told him to look at my shoulder. He then looked briefly and mentioned he knew now why I was in pain and gave me some pain meds and muscle relaxers. 8 weeks out still in pain,he told me no need for appointments. Dr is rude! Went to ER and was told will need surgery.

I am a 73 year old male who had a 'trigger thumb' repaired surgically by Dr. Cherney. This doc was open and engaging, light hearted and very patient orientated - letting me know the proposed procedure, expected outcome and recovery time. MOST docs do not take the time to know their patients, much less engage in 'small' talk to set the patient at ease. Dr. Cherney is not only a wonderful surgeon (great outcome), but he is also an engaging personality I highly recommend him.

Saw Dr Cheney for a Work Comp injury Diagnosis of Bilateral Pronator Syndrome and Osteoarthritis of the Thumbs. I had all my medical records sent to him 2 weeks prior to the appointment. Without doing any type of exam whatsoever, he said he thinks that Patients with W/C injuries are faking it, and there was no such thing as Carpal Tunnel! Then he ranted about how much money he wasn't going to get from the insurance if he treated me. He was rude and arrogant!
