I have been treated by Dr. Willard for over 15 years. I credit him for saving my life at least once by determining the need for and recommending CABAG surgery on my first visit. I have seen him at least every six months since then and have been treated aggressively and successfully for many symptoms related to heart and vascular disease. My wife is now a new patient and I would recommend him, without reservation, to any and all who suffer from heart disease.

If your loved one has cognitive decline and/or non heart related issues, I do not advise that you seek care under Dr. Willard. His colleague dismissed my 76-year-old father's back issues when placing him flat on his back for a heart cath procedure, even though my father told him he wouldn't be able to lie on his back. While placing a stent in my father's artery, my father had back spasms that caused him to writhe (uncontrollably) in pain. The next day, Dr. Willard chastised my dad for something that was the surgeons fault! When my dad got confused and upset, Dr. Willard escalated the situation. At the follow-up appointment, Dr. Willard dismissed him as a patient and refuses to see him any more! Dr. Willard and his colleague handled the whole situation unprofessionally.
