Dr Urse performed arthroscopic surgery on my hip on May 21, 2020. He also injected the hip with PRP. I think I took 2 or 3 pain pills after the surgery. I don’t think I was every in a lot of pain. I just thought I should be in pain. I am now two weeks out and I have really had no pain. I had battled hip pain for 20 years. I was unable to sleep well due to the pain. I thoroughly recommend Dr Urse!!! Sheila is also totally fabulous!!

I went to Dr Urse for stem cell treatment in both my knees. Dr. Urse was very professional, not only in his explanation of the procedure, during the procedure, but more importantly by following up by staying in touch with me to monitor my condition. I might add he was in contact with me telephonically, as I live in Houston, Texas, as well as seeing me in Dayton, Ohio when I visited my elderly parents. He was sincerely concerned about my progress, which made me feel so good, because many doctors are not that personable after they've completed a procedure. This was not the case with Dr. Urse. His bedside manner was such that I felt a closeness to him that I've not experienced with any other doctors that I've been seen by. Everything Dr. Urse told me to expect, both during the procedure and during my recovery were spot on. As a result of the stem cell injections, harvested from my hip, I have experienced an 80% improvement in both knees. I would strongly recommend Dr. Urse to anyone.

Dr.Urse is a considerate and excellent surgeon. John is on the forefront and cutting edge of orthopedic care.He considered my being an actively aging adult who plays senior sports, Pickleball and biking when I needed a hip replacement. I had an anterior approach so I could be back doing the things I enjoy. Thanks Dr. Urse.

Great doctor, very knowledgeable spent a good amount of time explaining in detail what was going on in my shouldering pictures and then subsequently the MRI views. Yes there was a problem, and said we would try Physical Therapy before e we entertained any surgical processes. Still in PT. I appreciate his knowledge and thinking and the taking of a conservative approach on the correction.

Dr Urse explained everything about my labral tear, extremely well, before my surgery. He called twice after I got home, to check and make sure I was doing well. I appreciated that in a surgeon. The follow up care after surgery was also great. He is also very personable and likable guy. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Urse's use of up and coming methods and techniques such as Platelet Rich Plasma and Stem Cell Therapy have made my life so much better. After multiple surgery's to get my knee back in action we turned to Stem cells and PRP. My pain has been almost zero and my recovery is way ahead of schedule! The benefits of these services far outweigh the cost! Oh and not to mention his staff is awesome!

After several years of lateral leg pain, worse when turning over in bed at nite, many cortisone injections, acupuncture, dry needling, physical therapy, heat & cold, rest, massage therapy, hi dose nsaid therapy, I was referred to Dr Urse. MRI showed a possible labral tear but he told me a scope would confirm the diagnosis so surgery was scheduled. I was ready to trade off chronic pain for post op pain but I awoke from surgery with NO pain! I’m 6 weeks post op & have finished PT. I’m very happy!
