Dr. Todd's bio

This content was provided by Dr. Todd "Dr. Todd is a native of Columbus, Georgia and grew up in a medical family. His father was a long time family practitioner int he community. He received his undergraduate degree just 45 miles down the road at Auburn where he met his future wife Pam. He followed Pam back home to Mobile where he attended the University of South Alabama College of Medicine where he received his medical degree. For orthopedic residency, Pam and John (and their newborn son) moved to Charleston, South Carolina. Their final stop for training was back in Columbus, Georgia where John completed both a Sports Medicine and a Shoulder Reconstruction Fellowship at the Hughston Clinic. Pam and John moved to Baldwin County, Alabama in 2000 and have been living and working in Daphne since that time. There children, Hays and Anna have grown up and moved away. Hays is currently in New Orleans completing a residency in Psychiatry while Anna completed a journalism degree at the other major university in Alabama. She now lives and works in Chicago."

Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Todd "The vast majority of patients presenting to an orthopedics surgeon's office do not need surgery.  Our goal is to provide our patients with an accurate diagnosis the first time so treatment can be determined.  For most conditions, treatment is often non-operative.  Only when conservative care fails to provide adequate relief, do we consider and offer surgical options."
