I went to see Dr. Reynolds in the fall of 2018 because I was experiencing shoulder pain. He gave me an injection into the shoulder and prescribed physical therapy. After about 8-12 weks of PT my shoulder was feeling better but in the fall of 2019 the pain had returned. In January 2020 I had a second MRI on my shoulder (the first one in the fall of 2018 did not show any tear in the shoulder) and this time there appeared a slight tear in the rotator cuff. We decided to go with surgery at this time and in late February 2020 my shoulder was operated upon. I just completed 13 weeks of PT and the shoulder is feeling much, much better. I met with Dr. Reynolds yesterday for the fourth time since surgery and we discussed the progress I had made and what to expect in the future. He informed me that a complete recovery would take several months with additional work on my own with home exercises. That said he released me from further PT and urged me to continue working on stretches on my own.

Dr. Reynolds diagnosed a tear in the muscle of the left shoulder and recommended surgery. It was done on December 20, 2019. Six months have passed including therapy. I can say now that the operation and subsequent therapy were very successful. I believe Dr. Reynolds is an excellent physician both on the professional and personal levels.

I started seeing Dr. Reynolds in 2013. He is always attentive to you and any questions you might have. He fixed a meniscus tear in 2014 and told me then it wouldn’t take care of my problem knee. I finally decided to have a total knee replacement in Jan. 2020 and Dr. Reynolds did it in March. He did an excellent job and I only wish I had had it done sooner.

Skilled, caring, compassionate care. Just over a year out from my acl reconstruction and I can't even tell the difference between my knees. Wasn't judgemental at all about how I wrecked my knee when it was clear I did something stupid. Post operative care was outstanding. Pain management was outstanding. Overall excellent care. Have recommended Dr. Reynolds many times since and will continue to do so.

Dr. Reynolds replaced my right knee in November 2019. The surgery and rehab were perfect and I had zero complications. His bedside demeanor is concerned and reassuring to squelch the terror I had about the surgery. If I ever have to have an orthopedic surgery again he would be my first choice. On return office visits he listened to my concerns, reassured me that my rehabilitation was doing well, and answered every question I asked. His devotion to his skilled technique added to calm my scattered nerves about the surgery. Additionally...he is a very nice guy and I wish him well for the future! Thanks' Dr. Reynolds, I will always think of you fondly!

Dr. Reynolds is extremely personable and knowledgeable. The moment I met him I knew I was in the right hands and that he was going to diagnose and fix my issue. I ended up having a torn meniscus and as stated, he was able to diagnose and repair the problem. He even had to review the diagnosis with our insurance so they would pay. The surgical center was just as awesome. From the staff before surgery (Susan) to the anesthesiologist; everything was smooth and professional. Dr. Reynolds also took the time to explain to my wife how I did in surgery. Although I hope I do not need him again but if I should do something again, I would definitely go back to Dr. Reynolds. Thanks Doc for all you do!

I had weeks of no weight on leg. He told everything to expect. He took the time with me every time I had appointment. I would recommend Dr John M Reynolds IV, MD.

I had arthroscopic surgery on my knee due to a torn meniscus. It was less painful than going to the dentist. The staff was very friendly, nice and professional. I am super pleased with the result and my knee feels much better. The pain and swelling is gone and i have greater range of movement.
