His office in LaGrange refused to fill my prescriptions because they were prescribed by a doctor who has left the practice. I feel this is unacceptable since I am a registered and long time patient of this office. I will be seeking care from another dermatologist in the area because of this and...more

As a doctor, I can't fill prescriptions for medications that I think are dangerous or are unwarranted for a patient's problem. This goes for treatments and procedures performed in the office as well. If I were to fill a patient's request for medication, and there is no documentation of this, or I felt the medication was not in the patient's best interest, I would not be much of a doctor. I firmly believe in the adage that says "Above ALL, do no harm". jlr
