I'm very particular about switching to new doctors. However; Dr. Ponders was recommended by my GYN DR after a surgical procedure for a Primary Doctor. I was Blessed to have found him. He as excellent bed side manner. He's very attentive, he listens, he offers different remedies and he really seems to care. I plan to continue my regular visit. One of my best doctors ever. Thanks Dr. Ponders!! Be Blessed!

Very attentive to his patients needs. Actually listens to the patient, and their ideas which is uncommon in my experience. I would recommend him for general practice needs and anything else you may need.

Very like to recommend. I appreciate his understanding, serious demeanor and humor when appropriate. It all makes for a better day. God Bless you, your family and staff! p.s. There are some staff members that aren't happy and expressed their opinions of others not doing their jobs. This happens a lot on any job but I feel it should addressed. Hard to make customers happy when staff isn't.

I was long overdue for a doctor's visit and ended up with Dr. Pounders due to location of office. He was great. He took time to explain what he was doing, why its done. Medication was recommended and he took time to talk about possible side effects, what to do about side effects, and most important how to improve health to reduce the need for said medication. The next day, he called me himself to tell me what lab results were and give me some prespective on what they meant.

Made an appointment with Dr. Pounders last August because my primary was not available for a while. After my first visit with him, I asked if he would be willing to take me as a patient. Excellent bedside manner, and he listened and asked lots of questions. Fast forward 6 months... Due to changes he made in my medications and other treatment for diabetes, I am now seeing normal glucose ranges at all times of the day for the first time in 15 years since my diagnosis. Best Doctor EVER
