John Petolillo, Jr., DO, has been a practicing general orthopedic surgeon for 16 years and is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Albright College in Reading, PA. Following that, he obtained his Doctor of Osteopathy from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Petolillo interned at the Hospital of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he also completed his residency and was Chief Resident at the school's Department of Orthopedic Surgery. His wide ranging expertise includes arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery, total knee and hip replacement surgery, fracture surgery and endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery. Dr. Petolillo is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society, the American Osteopathic Association, the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, and the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians. In 2006, Dr. Petolillo was part of the orthopaedic medical staff for the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. He is an Orthopaedic residency trainer for the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and a member of the Committee on Orthopedic Surgery for the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association.
