I would highly recommend Dr. Osterman to anyone looking for a Dr. His office staff are excellent and so is he. He is very patient and explains things thoroughly. I truly appreciate him and his staff.
Cape Coral, FL |
Doctor Osterman took his time during consultation. He answered all our questions while seated on his stool, not holding the door knob like many other doctors do nowadays. The times we were at his office, we did not have to wait more than 5 minutes. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anybody that asks me.

He was extremely thorough and very informative. I was impressed that he did not dismiss my concerns or rush us out of the office. He addressed my daughter and asked questions she could understand and answer. I really appreciate his kindness and generosity with his time!

Dr. Osterman takes his time and listens! He is a pleasure to deal with. It is a clean, efficient, calm office. His assistant Joy is a pleasure to deal with also. This office is very impressive, unlike most chaotic medical offices.

We have been searching for a medical professional able to diagnose and treat our daughter for three years. Our search has ended. Dr. Osterman is extremely intelligent and his knowledge is backed up by over two decades worth of experience. His bedside manner is "teenager approachable" and he is able to get the information he is seeking from his patient. We have six children and have had our share of Dr. visits over the years. This guy is definitely a KEEPER!

Dr. Osterman's expertise includes diagnosis and treatment of seizures, and the various spells that may mimic a seizure: staring and breath holding spells, syncope/fainting spells, sleep and movement disorders, migraine and migraine variants, as well as various behavioral and psychological disorders.

Dr. Osterman is also expert in evaluation and management of concussion, headaches, dizzy spells, tics and Tourette syndrome, learning and attentional problems, autism, developmental delay, abnormal head shape, and torticollis/head tilt.

Electroencephalography(EEG) is available in-office. Neuroimaging(CT/MRI), lab testing, or neuropsychological evaluation may be recommended as determined by your child's needs. Long-term video EEG in hospital or video ambulatory EEG in the home are obtained as required.

State-of-the-art digital EEG is performed and interpreted in-office, administered by a certified EEG technician. As scheduled, this procedure and clinical consultation can be obtained on a same-day basis.

This procedure is obtained in patients with known or suspected seizure disorders, or alternatively, in cases to help "rule out" seizures.

Additionally, this study is used when assessing general electrical activity of brain, to help distinguish between an isolated mental health disorder and a medical/neurological condition presenting with psychiatric signs or symptoms.
