I had a cataract surgery in January, 2017. Lots of problems afterwards with irritation and discomfort . Long story short, to this day I see the lens, 3 circles of glass when the light hits it, in the house and while driving. I went for a second opinion , apparently it is the lens he used. My options are to live with this or have the old lens removed, not a simple or risk free procedure. Additionally, the wait is so long for this doctor, it is ridiculous.

My experience with Dr. Nichols specifically was one of the worst, most horrific experiences I've had with a doctor to date. It's a shame because I have always been happy with the practice and the other physicians in every other way.

Dr. Nichols is excellent but when you have an appointment you better clear your day and pack a lunch! He is thorough and explains exams and tests completely! I wouldn't recommend him only because of the amount of time spent at the office! Have NEVER left an appointment in under 2 hrs and unfortunately I'm not exaggerating this point, closer to 3 hrs on some appointments. It really is a shame because Dr.Nichols is an exceptional Doctor!!
