it is true that you will have to wait to see the doctor, his office staff is difficult to get through. Appointments are hard to get and you will always wait.... Now for the great. Dr. Monroe is very knowledgeable, never talks down to you or is too busy to take that extra minute you need. On a few occasions I have seen him at the table after he has delivered a horrible diagnosis and he is upset. He is a very caring doctor that needs a better office manager or more Doctors for his practice

Wow this doctor is one of the worst doctors I have ever met jump to conclusions totally biased disrespectful condescending a complete air head this doctor cares more about his license then he does about his patients which makes him not a doctor

Dr. Monroe, we miss having you as our family physician. You truly care about the people you see. You showed an admirable attitude about the whole person, not just a body, not just a number. We wish we could have you back.

I review medical records as part of my living and see the quality, or lack there of, of many doctors in the valley. Dr. Monroe shows excellent bedside manners and cares for his patients. While he is always very busy with his patient schedule, he takes the time necessary to make sure you are doing well and receiving necessary treatment. Additionally, I appreciate how cautious he is with treatment and willingness to refer you to other qualified doctors to receive the best treatment possible.

I have been with Family Life Medicine for about a year, just long enough to know the horrible service is the norm. I feel as though the staff are knowledgeable, and the office *appears* to work with you to get in when you're sick, etc. The reality is, whether your APPOINTMENT is scheduled a couple hours in advance or a couple months in advance, you will ALWAYS wait to see the Dr/nurse for AT LEAST an hour AFTER your scheduled time. You won't get an apology for the delay, nor an explanation.

I had my blood drawn I had to wait a month and I had to call so I can go for follow up appointment!! instead doctor should call me if there is any concern which was a concern he never did call me and after I explained him that I was a little disappointed, he give me dirty look!! and he told me there is different places you can go to if you don't like it here. Of course I know that I was expecting from him to be more friendly and understand mistake instead he was disrespectful!!!!
in Goodyear, AZ |
Rude doctor in charge of substandard practice - do yourself a favor and go elsewehere. Office staff has difficulty with scheduling appointments, taking insurance information (so you will be asked every time), and be prepared to wait indefinitely even if you manage to schedule an appointment. Also staring at the family pictures while your waiting gets very old...

Billing ladies are horrible. They do not know what they're doing. I've been wrongfully billed on many occasions and they refuse to take responsibility. Will not be going back!

knowledgeable and experienced with a good manner. excellent doc.
He insists on having me come into the office before he will refill my prescription. Been taking it effectively for 21 years and only saw my previous doctor a handful of times when I had a problem. No I'm not taking any kind of pain medication, anything addicting nor any narcotic. I can't afford an office visit and it's completely unnecessary. He would rather me stop taking the medication which is not advised.
