Dr. Marshall's bio

This content was provided by Dr. Marshall "I specialize in physical medicine and rehabilitation, also called Physiatry and hold lifetime board certification from the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. For more than 20 years I have provided non-surgical care for injuries and disorders of muscles, nerves and joints, including care for the spine. For some patients, epidural steroid injections for cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine injuries or disorders are needed to help them regain their quality of life. To help diagnose disorders of the muscles and nerves, I perform electrodiagnostic studies including EMG and nerve conduction velocity for both conservative and interventional spine care. My approach to treatment is conservative, however if surgery is indicated, being in practice with exceptional neurosurgeons, provides my patients with continuity of care not always available in other physiatry practices. Since his move to the metro Detroit area, he particularly enjoys meeting with patients who have southern roots, like himself. If you do not see your insurance listed, please contact my office for assistance at 877-784-3667. "
