Pulaski, NY |
Dr. Manring was head of 4B Upstate when I had the misfortune of being a voluntary patient on his floor. My "treatment" included increasing doses and 30 day shots of Haldol, I presumed to be a "major tranquilizer," yet made me anything other than tranquil. My initial doses commenced at 5 mg, after expressing my discomfort then increased to 10 mg. After nearly 5 months of this, I signed myself out, but unfortunately kept a belief of my brain's "chemical imbalance." I have global brain damage.
