I would leave a zero if I could. This "Dr" is dangerous. He almost killed me during surgery and let me lose 100 lbs and almost die afterward due to severe surgical damage because he would not admit it and covered it up. He lied about it every visit and never told me he injured me really badly, his office staff was incredible rude and I would run like Hell before ever seeing this horrible liar. He then slandered me. All I can say is RUN!

Dr Lipham saved my life as my initial surgery was botched. His skill and patience brought me back from a downward spiral..He is still carefully following me. I have referred members of my family to him and they also received excellent and successful treatment. Greatful for his skill and decent manner.

I am a surgeon. After taking meds for several years and finding out I had a low bone density from these medications, I went to Dr Lipham. He performed a Nissen fundoplication in 2012. I took no pain medication after surgery. The results of the surgery have been fantastic! After daily medications and careful diet for several years, I now eat and drink whatever I would like without really any issues. I take maybe 3-4 pills in a year. His office runs smoothly and follows up with me every year

I have a rare condition that required surgery in 2012. I was in a lot of pain and was very nervous about trying to get my health back on track. When I saw Dr. Lipham, I knew I was in good hands. He is simply amazing! He is competent, caring, knowledgeable, and truly the best doctor I have ever seen. I now need surgery again, and Dr. Lipham is the only doctor I would ever allow to perform this surgery. I know I will be in the best of hands with the greatest chance for a positive outcome.

1/15/16 I was diagnosed with advanced EGJ cancer; the gastro-doc who found it said "Go home and call hospice." Not me! I'm fighting. At a local facility I had chemo/rad geared toward surgery. I've had 2 clean f/u PET/endoscopies since. The surgeon there didn't think I should have surgery, but my oncologist and I disagreed. I believe God led me to Dr. Lipham (simply the best!). He will soon do my very complex surgery. He's very smart and caring. So are his staff. Much admired at Hoag!
