Dr Khadem saved my eye site. He is a remarkable professional who took tremendous diligence in his efforts to fix what was a very sick eye. It was a difficult surgery and recovery process and he was quite caring and sensitive to my emotional responses to the difficulties I was having, not just my retina. It was a long process, but I can see and I know it is because of John Khadem and his very professional associates. The people with the negative reviews, I'm sorry but I don't get it.

Dr. Khadem instills total confidence in me as a patient. He is most professional, personable and employs the most up-to-date technology, along with his deep knowledge, in healing eye problems.
in Cleveland, OH |
Dr. Khadem provided me with expert and compassionate care for years. He fully explained the changes that were occurring in my eyes, discussed treatment options, reviewed the pros and cons of each, listened to questions and took his time to make sure his responses were understood. NY has no shortage of competent technicians; Dr. Khadem is not only highly skilled, but he treats his patients with respect and dignity...as valued fellow human beings. He's the best!
Newark, NJ |
Dr. Khadem was a con artist and fraud. He would accept appointments from a number of patients and have them wait from 2 to 5 hours. When it was your time for an examination, he wasn't sure about his diagnosis. In addition, in my case, he scheduled me to see him once a month without any help or solution to my retina problem. He just wanted to collect from my insurance company.
Astoria, NY |
Very caring, compassionate and brilliant specialist. We fought macular edema for two years, restoring my sight and hope for a better future. Well worth the long wait for the exams as they are very thorough before one can see Dr. Khadem. Take at least 3 hours from the appointment time to conclusion. The staff is very corteus and helful. I highly recommend dr. Khadem and his practice.

The worst most narcissistic person and horrific doctor. Please DO Not go here
in New York, NY |
Amazing Doctor! Brilliant surgeon! Well worth the sometimes very long wait time. Operated on me twice to have enormous vitreous floaters removed from each eye, about 3 years apart. These were not tiny black specks floating by, but huge opaque, mucous-like globs which blocked my vision. The last was in January, 2012, and so far so great! Both eyes needed cataract ectomies around 6 months after surgery which is par for the course. Easy outpatient procedures. My sight is now great!!!
