I had a Spinal Nerve Block done by Dr.Keel a year ago and he has damaged my Spinal Nerve. I now have Peripheral Neuropathy in my foot which is permanent damage. I have not been back to work since. I have difficulty walking, numbness and pain in my foot. Still can’t even touch my foot due to the sensitivity. Seek a second opinion Dr.Keel is not the Spinal Surgeon you want to go to.

About 10 yrs ago, I had a successful spinal fusion at Emory. Today, I had a first appointment with Dr. Keel for concerns about a new type of pain, new location-- at the very base of my spine ("tailbone"). My impression of Dr. Keel was excellent! He was thorough, knowledgeable, professional and kind. He listened carefully, was patient answering my questions, and discussed diagnosis plus treatment options with me so that, together, we could agree on the best course of action. Much appreciated!

Impersonal, came to a quick conclusion without taking any images or even looking at my back. Only option was PT & an injection. I knew neither of these would cure the problem (exercise is always good but) I mentioned Dr. Keel to my physical therapist , she said he had NEVER accepted a recommendation from their office for any type of therapy other than what he had specifically recommended. Went to another back Dr. who covered all the bases & I'm totally satisfied with his care and have GREAT PT

Dr.Keel was knowledgeable, personable and empathetic. He is able to inform you, engender your trust and treat you without the affect of superiority I witnessed in some doctors.

Dr. Keel & his staff are very professional & take the time to explain your situation. Nurse Chenae is very responsive to phone calls & works with the pharmacy to make sure that your medication will be covered by your insurance.

I have been very comfortable with Dr. Keel and I trust his treatment recommendations. After months of getting wrong and sometimes ridiculous answers from local doctors, I went to Dr. Keel. He seemed to know what the problem was from the beginning! I would highly recommend Dr. Keel!

I have 2 herniated disk's between S1, L5 and L4. I've had facet injections, epidurals, a lateral radio frequency ablation on one vertebrae at Piedmiont and Spine center Atlanta performed a bi-lateral RFA on my entire lower lumbar. Dr. Keel said I looked above average so therefore wouldn't even prescribe advil. I asked for a liver enzyme test which they refused as well. Then wanted to do a epidural which never worked before and basically starting over. This is not the Dr. you want for results. $$
