I had an emergency eye, and the good doctor took me in right away. Told me exactly what was wrong with my eye and what needed to be done to fix it. Very straightforward and direct doctor. Couldn't be better.

Dr Whang is fantastic. I had a detached retina which he was able to repair skillfully. My other eye had a minor detachment which he detected and repaired as well. He is a very skillful doctor and pleasant and professional.

Dr Hwang is excellent. I had serious problems with both of my eyes and needed surgery. The Dr was excellent and was always there when I had questions. I have all my eyesight back now. A real professional.

Could not have been more disappointed in this Doctor. When I had temporary diplopia (double vision) as a result of the surgery and called in a panic he told me not to worry about it and simply wanted off the phone. I had to speak with another Dr to get a kind explanation.

I've seen Dr John Hwang for 3 years now. He is a five star doctor. No joke. Seriously caring, compassionate, and know what he's doing. No fun getting shots in my eye, but I wouldn't tryst anyone else with my eyesight.

I had a retina detachment and had surgery with another doctor who couldn't fix it. I saw Dr Hwang for a second opinion and he was able to successfully repair it. I owe him my vision. I tell everyone to see him.
