Dr. Howlett is a fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity specialist and board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Proliance Orthopedic Associates. He specializes in the treatment of hand, wrist and elbow conditions. Dr. Howlett graduated with Honors and Distinction from Stanford University and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society. While at Stanford, he was awarded a Mellon Fellowship and completed a Master's degree. Dr. Howlett earned a second Master's degree, with Distinction, in England after being awarded the Rotary Ambassadorial scholarship. Dr. Howlett earned his medical degree from the University of California at San Francisco, where he participated in the Medical Scholars Program. Dr. Howlett pursued his general orthopedic surgery residency training at the University of Washington and completed a fellowship specialization in hand and microvascular surgery. Dr. Howlett enjoys guiding his patients back to healthy function and is particularly interested in carpal tunnel syndrome, congenital deformities, and Dupuytren's con-tracture.
