Probably the worst part for most patients would be Dr. Healey's absolute lack of bedside manner. He seems cold and distant. His competency seems to be okay, but he did lack the correct information about BMI--which has been widely ignored as a factor in total knee replacement. As a final note, I cannot be 100% sure, but my quadricep seemed to be damaged after the surgery--don't know if this is a common ailment.

There is a lot to like about this practice. Dr. Healey is informative and trustworthy. Questions are answered in a thoughtful manner. The postoperative explanation about my surgical procedure was thorough and photographs were extremely helpful. The people from the front desk to the advance practice providers are gracious and thorough.

My recent meniscus surgery with Dr Healy went very well. It has been six weeks since surgery and I have fully resumed my cardio excersizes and daily walks with full function and no pain. Dr Healy was excellent. He also performed complete knee replacements on both knees for my wife over the past 3-4 years. Her recovery periods were 5-6 weeks each time, with outstanding success. I had no questions about who I wanted to perform my surgery when it was my turn, Dr Healy was top gun!

Dr. Kane referred me to Dr. Healey for hip orthoscopic surgery. Dr. Healey did an exam, looked at all the information, made a diagnosis and proceeded with the procedure that has made me free of the pain I have lived with for 2 years. He contacted my doctor concerning my immune defiency and the surgery went great. I am very grateful for both Dr Kane and Dr. Harley for listening and acting conservatively and precisely.
