Today's patients have a wealth of information readily available to them and it is my job to refine and deepen the understanding of their injury/ problem, and the treatment options best suited to their individual situation. Only by listening to my patient's concerns and descriptions can we arrive at an accurate diagnosis, and develop an individualized treatment plan. Regrettably, in a busy practice, there are times where in giving every patient the time they need, I will get behind and cause myself to be late in seeing subsequent patients. My priority is to give patients the time necessary to achieve our goal of an accurate and sound treatment plan.
I aim is to see that my patients are provided the best and most current treatment that medicine can deliver, even if that means referring them to another physician to achieve that goal. I am continuously investigating new treatments, and balancing utilizing "tried and true" traditional treatments versus cutting edge new interventions.
