I consulted Dr. Harrell about severe low back pain. He spent a lot of time taking my history and doing a physical exam. He also reviewed my X-rays with me, and was very clear in his explanations. He talked with me about various treatment options, and I felt good about my visit overall. He has a very easygoing manner, and seems generally concerned about the patients he sees.

Dr. Harrell has treated me since 2020 for a painful shoulder injury that turned out to be a labral year. He called me personally when an MRI revealed this and has given targeted injections to relieve my pain. I found him to be a caring, articulate physician, who takes into account underlying conditions like fibromyalgia when examining me and suggesting treatment. I highly recommend him.

First time visit to him, recommended by Dr Wimberly office for upper back pain. I’ve been to Fondren group before for knee shots, and broken bones in hand. My husband had surgery there also so I was always impressed with all the doctors, the efficiency of the staff, knowledgeable docs and a great run office. Dr. Harrell is one of the best, he’s very personable, made me feel at ease, explained the medical reasons for my issues and solutions. Again no wait time including fast X-rays and great office staff. Highly recommend.

My visit was a very good experience. I was so greatful he took me without an appointment. As soon as another Dr. called him to see if he could give me a shot in my hip because I was in so much pain. I was in his office and had my shot within about 30 minutes. I think that was wonderful. If I need him again, I will not hesitate. Thank you Dr. Harrell!!!

I have been to see Dr Harrell about several conditions. Most lately he has managed my recovery and rehab from a debilitating spinal condition for which I underwent surgery. This has been a slow and painful recovery and Dr Harrell has been supportive at every step of the way. I also had painful bouts with tendonitis and knee arthritis for which he administered steroidal injections in the office which offered very fast relief. I would recommend Dr Harrell to anyone with musculoskeletal conditions.
