Brilliant, attentive, compassionate.
I would drive to California if necessary for follow ups with Dr Harrell. I've been his patient for 7 years. The only thing that exceeds his brilliance, is his compassion, attentiveness and bedside manner. He's one of a kind and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Excellent service and professionalism
I have been a patient of Dr Harrell for a number of years, and now my two teenage sons are patients as well. Prior to meeting Dr Harrell I was highly dissatisfied with my experiences with many Drs. They were rushed and impersonal. Dr Harrell is a refreshing change. Not only is he highly competent in Orthopedic medicine, he is also a caring person who takes time to ask questions, listen to your concerns and explain proposed treatments. I highly recommend him.

Outrage Fantastic!
DH is by far one of the greatest doctors I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and I trust him with my life. I’ve met many a physician in my time being a Cystic Fibrosis patient. Not only does he care for the general well-being of his patients, but does and goes well above, and far beyond what is called or expected of his services. Frankly, he’s my all time favorite doctor, and I’ve had many to choose from.

My visit was very pleasant and I appreciated the fact that he saw me the same day that I saw Dr Stocks and was referred. Saved me another trip down town. After the ultrasound he determined that it was probably not wise to go ahead with the aspiration. I appreciated his through explanation will definitely return or recommend Dr Harrell.

Outstanding Professional Rapport
Dr. Harrell radiates a calming confidence and relaxed focus that let me know I was being listened to, and I was being heard. My recent first visit with Dr. Harrell exceeded my expectations in every way. There’s no question that Dr. Harrell and staff care about what they are doing, and are good at doing it. His nurse was friendly, helpful and professional, the option to upload prior test results to my chart worked efficiently, preparation of orders after my visit was quick and complete, and I received a detailed visit summary by secure email later in the day. I know I’m in the right place, and I know everyone is on the same page regarding my care. Though this orthopedic group is consistently excellent, Dr. Harrell’s effortless creation of patient rapport is notable, outstanding, and inspires confidence on the road to improvement. I really like these folks.

Helpful and Caring Doctor
While visiting another Dr at Fondren it was determined that I needed an injection in my right hip joint. I was referred to Dr Harrell for the injection. Dr Harrell and his staff stayed past their normal closing time so I did not have to make another visit to receive my injection. He explained what was involved in the procedure and made sure I was comfortable without hurrying to close the office for the day. He then inserted a very long needle directly into my hip joint and injected the prescribed medication. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY PAINLESS! Dr Harrell’s technique, experience, and personality made this whole experience painless and stress free.

Dr. Stocks referred me to Dr. Harrell. He listens, absorbs what your saying and clearly outlines a plan on how to proceed. I am so thankful for Dr. Harrell working with me to get to the bottom of what’s causing my leg pain and stiffness. Highly recommend Dr. Harrell, just who you want your doctor, and his staff, to be.

It was an informative session. Dr. Harrell an overview of my ailing lower spin condition and next steps needed for improving conditions with physical therapy and exercise. Additionally, Dr. Harrel observed an abnormal condition regarding an artery, which he helped facilitate X-rays to be shared with my cardiologist. I look forward to seeing Dr. Harrell in six weeks for a follow-up apointment.
