Dr. Flower is an attentive and conscious physician. I felt comfortable with his analysis and with him doing surgery on my wrist. I am pain free and my wrist is completely functional.

Dr. Fowler is very compassionate doctor. I went to see him after 7months of elbow pain and he took time to explain what was going on and gave me multiple options of how we can proceed. Ultimately I decided to proceed with surgery I know I’m in great hands and look forward to getting this procedure done and getting back to normal. I would definitely recommend Dr. Fowler to friends and family.

My son has had pain in his left elbow because of a childhood fracture. I made an appt with Dr. Fowler based on positive reviews. During our first consultation, Dr. Fowler diagnosed the problem and made us feel comfortable with the process to correct the issue. My son had a radial head excision on 5/13/20. Today we went for the 2 week follow up. Surgery went extremely well and F/U today was perfect. Dr Fowler has the BEST bedside manners. He takes his time to ensure we do not leave with any questions unanswered. My son associates going to an Ortho Doc w/pain as he has a bone disease where he fractures easier and had several broken bones when he was younger. I KNOW the experience with Dr. Fowler has helped to diminish the fear he has from his childhood. He actually said he is a little sad he will not get to deal with him anymore in the future b/c his issue has been resolved. There needs to be more physicians like Dr. Fowler. Extremely competent w/a grounded personality.

Very unprofessional. When I saw him for a wrist injury, he told me I must’ve been hurting myself on purpose because he’s never fallen that much in his lifetime. I have a genetic condition that causes me to fall easily. This causes me to land on my hands, wrists, and other joints and injure them frequently. I see multiple surgeons multiple times a month. I am now 20yo and have had over 14 surgeries, 6 of which have failed, in the last 5 years. I went to him for help and I left feeling disgusted and frustrated.

Dr. Fowler was absolutely amazing, He did surgery on my hand after a car accident and he did a wonderful job. Even with the after care and every visit he would listen to what you had to say and would give you advise and check up on you to see how you was doing. I am so lucky that he was my doctor. He has a warming personality and a huge heart, anyone that gets the chance to work with him or be a patient is lucky!

Dr Fowler is amazing. I've worked in healthcare for ten years and he is the most respectable, compassionate doctor I've ever met. He has operated on my daughters hand twice now and I always feel so confident leaving her in his care. I cannot praise him enough he spends time with his patients and is extremely knowledgeable. UPMC is lucky to have him.

Dr. John Fowler was outstanding. He squeezed me in after a scheduling mix-up, and was most gracious about it. He thoroughly explained my surgery in terms anyone could understand. If there was a 6-Star fating, he would get it from me. I have full confidence in him for my thumb surgery next week.

I had an appointment with Dr. Fowler on 02/26/2016. He explained the progress I was making & now I am scheduled for therapy since I need to increase the strength & amount of weight I can lift. It is great to know that your Doctor keeps you on track. His concern is getting you back to your optimum health. I think you should have a space for his staff. Ashley was wonderful & assisted me when I was checking in. Jennifer checked me out. GREAT STAFF! THANK YOU!!!
