Graduated from Georgetown College with a B.S. and went on to attend University of Louisville School of Medicine where I graduated in 1976. I did a 4 year residency program in OB-GYN from 1976-1980 under Dr. John Queenan, MD. I've practiced in east Louisville since 1980 primarily at Norton Suburban Hospital (where I had the privilege of delivering the first babies in 1988 (set of twins)) as well as Baptist East Hospital. I am a member of the American College of OB-GYN (ACOG) and became Board certified in 1982. I also am a member of the AMA as well as the KMA. I also received a Master of Science Degree in 1976 in the field of Physiology and Biophysics. My research was in "membrane transport" and still enjoy being involved in research. I have sat on the "Board of Trustees of Georgetown College" as well as the "Georgetown College Foundation Board". Many of the babies I have delivered have gone on to attend Georgetown College. I also received my private pilot's license in 1978 and have thoroughly enjoyed the aviation field over the years. I currently practice only Gynecology with an emphasis on hormone replacement therapy with bio-identical and/or "human identical" replacement therapy. I continue to perform gynecological surgical procedures such as sterilization procedures, endometrial ablations for excessive vaginal bleeding, laparoscopic hysterectomies as well as laparoscopic procedures to diagnose the etiology of pelvic pain. I have also begun a "suboxone clinic" in the treatment of opioid addiction. My practice is involved in "pharmacogenetic testing" and incorporating these findings in the better care of patients. I am licensed to practice in five (5) states including Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Indiana, as well as Kentucky. "
