Dr. John J. Farkas joined Gastroenterology Associates of New Jersey (GANJ) on June 1, 2015 as a gastroenterologist and partner. Dr. Farkas completed his fellowship in gastroenterology and a residency at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center. He received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies after attending Universidad del Noreste in Tampico, Mexico for two years and received his Bachelor of Pharmacy from Rutgers University in Piscataway, NJ. He is currently is a member of the SJP, SJW and IPA as well as a former member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America. He has also been published in multiple medical journals throughout the course of his career.
