He fused my 4th and 5th lumbar to relieve sciatic pain. Cleaned up arthritis and cysts, 2 years later, my back is virtually pain free. He was thorough, professional and delivered on what he diagnosed. Oerall I would recommend him to anyone needed his expert services.

Horrible experience with Dr. Eickman and his assistant nurse. Very poor pain management after a laminectomy. He was passive/aggressive when criticized. Failed to listen and acted like petulant child when confronted. Provided a cursory follow up exam. No information provided regarding how to prepare your home after a laminectomy. Very grateful web research provided useful information. Would NEVER return to Eichman.

Diane Fossum – Dec 04, 2020
His review of my back problems after a failed back surgery by another neurosurgeon was very cursory and incomplete. He put me on a small dosage of a nerve pain medication. When that didn't work, he referred me to the local pain clinic. I immediately found a different neurosurgeon who took a much more aggressive approach to my care. I also switched to another pain clinic. Both moves were excellent. The new neurosurgeon operated and cured my problem, finding a broken bone in my back.

Fargo, ND – Mar 06, 2017
The diagnosis seemed to be correct although no one is sure. The treatment plan was totally inappropriate and was contradicted by a subsequent neurosurgeon. He gave up on me when I really needed help. I moved on to a different neurosurgeon and am doing better. As important, the new neurosurgeon continuously searches for feedback and uses much better diagnostics and therapeutic tools.
