Dr. Delahay's Care Philosophy

It is important to me to make sure my patients understand the problem, the treatment options and the long-term implications of each. I also feel very strongly that children and adolescents be included in any discussion of their condition and treatment. Their concerns are often quite different than their parents' and it's important to address them.

I saw him at Georgetown 10 yrs ago, and he gave me info I really didn't want to hear. I now really appreciate his honesty. My mom was an RN at GUH decades ago, and she still remembers Dr. Delahay having a really good reputation then. I scheduled a followup appt through zocdocs, and it did not work, but I'm not sure if that problem was more GUH orthopedics or zocdocs.

The wait time is worth it. Dr Delahey has seen my daughter through every sports related injury and recovery. He was the voice of reason keeping her off the field until healed resulting in safe and continued playing.
