Delahay, MD, has more than 40 years of experience in diagnosing and treating both children and adults with orthopaedic conditions. While no longer performing surgery, he maintains an active practice dedicated to orthopaedic outpatient care. In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Delahay is a well-respected educator, author or co-author of numerous textbooks on orthopaedic surgery, and a frequent presenter and lecturer on the topics. Since 1995, he has held the title of Peter Cyrus and Rose Dignan Rizzo Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Pediatrics at Georgetown University School of Medicine. During that same time frame, he has also served as the school's Vice Chair of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Program Director, Orthopaedic Surgery Training. In recognition of his many educational contributions, Dr. Delahay was inducted into the School's prestigious Magis Society of Master Teachers in 2008. "
