I saw Dr D’Auria for lower back pain. Every visit was the same exam. He did many injections. They provided relief for awhile then stopped working. Not very personable. Doesn’t say much. After some time, I saw the PA every visit. Not so friendly either. I was told he was working with new patients and she did the other appointments. The office personnel never returned phone calls. All the staff at the front desk seemed like they’d be anywhere but there. I got very tired of waiting every visit at least 30-45 minutes. I had an injection on a Saturday. I had to have a ride so my spouse and kids dropped me off. I was told they’re on schedule and I was next. My family went for breakfast. After a hour or so, I was still waiting. After about 2 hours, I was called back to have my IV put in. There were still 2 people ahead of me. It was more than frustrating. Never once did I receive an apology for waiting each and every time. The Dr didn’t seem interested in answering questions.

After months of X-rays and office visits to remove scar tissue from my spinal canal which this doctor said over and over would an easy procedure he calls at 9 pm the night before surgery when we due there at 5:30 am he calls to say “Mr Wrong Name after reviewing the xrays, I am not going do the surgery” not certain he even had my file. This is not acceptable. Even was told to go off my regular meds for seven days which I did. Cannot believe how unprofessional. Now No surgery no alternative

I am under Dr. D'Auria's supervision & he is a great doctor, but I usually see Diane- Nurse Practioner. She is awesome! She is very thorough, knowledgeable, & very compassionate! She has helped me through 3 spinal fusion/laminectomies (L3-S1) & a right SI Joint fusion, & still to come, a left SI Joint fusion & pubic fusion. She is one of the best medical providers I have ever been treated by! She has made me to feel as though she truly cares about me & all the pain I've been going through.??Her!

Wow. I have been struggling with RA, OA, and Fibromyalga for years. On my very first visit with Dr. D'Auria, I'm now, for the first time ever, on meds that have really worked for me. On a follow-up visit yesterday, I saw his very capable assistant and was very pleased with her thoroughness and professionalism.

Dr. D'Auria is working to find a acceptable solution to manage my pain. I have had two back surgeries and also have a very bad neck. He is trying this new procedure this week that may give me relief for up to 2 years!

My only complaint is not exclusive to this docs office.
The P.A. rushes in & does a quick hands on exam, signs paperwork & races to the next pt.. If you have questions spit them out quickly. During this whirlwind I couldn't think fast enough and lost my chance. Short of that I would recommend this doc office.

I have only been to him three times and was nervous to have any Dr work on my spine for shots. I read his medical backround and saw he was at a medical hospital in MA and knowing there are great Drs from there seeing I'm from MA I chose him and so far I'm glad to have made the right decision. Looking forward to seeing him and to find out if I'm a canidate for a new procedure.
