Would definitely recommend. First doc I saw said nothing but an ankle replacement for me. Went to Dr. Crates expecting confirmation of doc in Southlake diagnosis -- ankle replacement. Dr Crates said otherwise. Had arthroscopic surgery and biocartlidge and have felt great since surgery last November.

It took 3 years of pain, 2 rounds of physical therapy, 3 different orthotics, 1 CT scan, 2 MRI's, 5 x-rays, and 4 different doctors before I found Dr. Crates, who then properly diagnosed me with an accessory navicular. He did a modified kidner procedure and removed it. Almost 4 years after the pain started, I am finally able to play tag with my nephews, go on walks, wear cute shoes, and workout. His physician's assistant, Jackie is absolutely the best! Thank you guys!
in Mansfield, TX |
Dr. Crates was very good throughout the whole surgery process. Extremely personable with his patients, never waited more than 10 minutes in the waiting room. Each appointment took no more than 30 minutes. His P.A., Jackie, is super sweet and very knowledge about procedures, ect. Highly recommend!
in Frisco, TX |
I saw Dr Crates for RSD/CRPS, which left me unable to walk for over 2 years. He is very knowledgeable and kind. He confirmed my diagnosis. Most doctors don't know what RSD/CRPS is. Wonderful Doc.
