I am so greatful for Doctor Couvillion. I was completely confident in his expertise during both of my Vitrectomy surgeries. I am so elated to say that becabuse of Doctor Couvillion, my vision is now great. He is my ONLY recommendation for any type of retina surgery. My overall experience from beginning to end could not have been any better. His staff and the staff at Advance Surgical care are the best. They are all professional, yet so very personable. Thanks to all for the wonderful care and hospitality you provide. It meant so much to me.

I went during Covid Pandemic, I was rushed through the exam- less than five minutes- and told I needed an angiogram. I do not have high blood pressure or diabetes, but a family history of them. He was very angry that my regular eye doc told me I had spots in optic nerve-- which were verified by another ophthalmologist years ago. I was referred to doctor Couvillion, by a neurologist. I felt like he did not care about my actual issues nor did he address my concerns. He was more determined to give my optometrist- who is caring and takes time to answer my questions a "lesson"-- he went as far as to call it a "teachable moment"- and asked his nurse to call her while I was there. He came across as callous and heck bent on proving how superior he was to my regular optometrist. I suspect an angiogram is a quick way to determine the health of someone's eye but it was not the right test for me. Instead of helping me, I just felt like he made a quick buck off of me. I will never return.

I have Multiple Sclerosis and came to see him as a first time patient. He asked me why was I on disability with Medicare. He actually said "you are not disabled. Do they just give it to everyone with MS"? He didn't know me or anything about me. Especially the fact that I was confined to a wheelchair just 2 weeks prior to the visit. I was so stunned I didn't know how to react. Haven't been back since

I was the first patient Dr. Couvillion gave the Jetre injection to which dissolved the cyst on my retina. The treatment was successful. He is a kind doctor. He listens to you and takes time with you. I highly recommend him.
