In my 40s, I had both hips replaced by Dr. Chiavetta in 2014 and everything went beautifully. I healed quickly and could walk painlessly, once again. I believed he was a gifted surgeon. Began having pain in my left hip in 2018 that made it difficult to move my leg. Dr. C rushed in, x-rayed & said it was hip bursitis. Advised to rest it. He appeared distracted & disinterested which surprised me because I thought very highly of him. Pain continued to worsen & Dr. C said it was iliopsoas tendonitis & sent me to have an injection by a radiologist. Again disinterested, which seems strange since he’s the one who performed my hip replacement. Pain continued to worsen. Dr. C. told me to lose weight, but then said that it wouldn’t really help this problem. He delivered this info with a disgusted look on his face and was again rushed & disinterested. Referred me to have a 2nd iliopsoas injection by a radiologist. I’m completely baffled & now regret seeing him!

I was a patient of Dr Chiavetta's for 12 years but stopped seeing him because he doesn't try to know his patients. Due to the opioid crisis he felt he had the right to tell me I could live with my pain. He never asked me what I went thru, all the meds I've taken to get to the ones I'm currently on. He insulted my neurologist & myself by saying we didn't know what we were doing. If he stopped being so arrogant & actually listened to his patients he would probably be the best surgeon.

Dr. Chiavetta did a complete hip replacement on Wednesday and I went home Thursday. Couldn't have gone better and he and his staff could not have been nicer. If you need any kind of surgery that he performs do not hesitate to see Dr. Chiavetta and have him do the surgery. You can't go wrong with Dr. Chiavetta!!!!

COMPLETELY SATISFIED!!! I have had 2 total knee replacements in the past 6 months. If I had 3 knees, he'd do the 3rd one too! Therapy is great as well. Ask for Morgan.

I had both hips replaced by Dr. Chiavetta at the ripe old age of 47 & he was absolutely fantastic. Both surgeries went smoothly & he seemed genuinely concerned about me and my welfare. His PA, Sara Capps, was also fantastic! After surgery, all of the professionals I spoke with during recovery (nurses, PTs, OTs, etc.) were highly complimentary of him. Every one of them said he would be their choice. I just cannot say enough fantastic things about him! I trust him and highly recommend him!

Dr. Chiavetta performed hip replacement surgery 3 days ago. He is an outstanding, knowledgeable, caring doctor. So caring, that he called the day before surgery asking how I was doind, did I have any questions, and to reassure me. This was my first surgery ever and I certainly picked the right doctor. Pain very manageable, feeling better than I have all year. He certainly exceeded my expectations. I would never consider anybody other than he to perform surgery. He's the best!
