in Clifton Park, NY |
Now in college in Boston, my son developed an ear infection over Thanksgiving. After a handful of visits where we were prescribed drops and bi-weekly visits, Dr. Cevera had us get a CT scan in February. He barely glanced at the study and prescribed more drops. We visited one of his colleagues today, Dr. Levenson, who has scheduled my son for major tympanomastoidectomy surgery later this month. Dr. Cevera wasted too much of our time and money to be someone I would recommend to anyone.

I go to Dr. Cevera every 3 mos. to have my ears cleaned (wax build up). Besides always being very warm and friendly, he is very gentle and painless (If anything, the procedure feels good). My husband and I also see Dr. Cevera once a year for a hearing test. We find that Dr. Cevera, as well as all of his staff, are more than pleasant and very efficient.

I was referred here by my Physician. However, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Staff was great! DR Cevera on the other hand, terrible! Barely listened to what I had to say. Just sent me for a hearing test, instead of focusing on the main reason I was there which was pain and ear infections. After the hearing test he explained the results, which was already known (I've lost major hearing, had known since I was 11). He then sent me on my way. The following day, I removed myself as a patient.

Dr Cevera was very courteous but very rushed. Didn't seem to take the time to get to know me at all or what my concerns were. After asking me my symptons asked me why I was there? I was referred by my primary physician. My issus seemed to be to minor for him. Didn't really resolve my issue.
