Dr. Boon received the Male Physician of Excellence Award from The Methodist Sugar Land Hospital in 2012.
He serves as the chairman of the Robotics Committee for Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. As a proctor for Intuitive Surgical, he teaches other surgeons how to do robotic surgery.
