Dr. Bonner received his medical degree at the University of South Alabama and then completed his four year Ophthalmology residency at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the Christian Medical Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Outside of work, Dr. Bonner is an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying hiking, water sports and spends time each year in Uganda providing education to ophthalmologists and eye care/surgery to those in need."
