NOT Specialist In Pain Management! 98% of people in the office never smile or act like they care at all. I've had 5 cervical surgeries, 1 lumbar surgery, and a hip replacement nine weeks before my visit. I was in so much pain from all these surgeries that I couldn't hold back the tears. I was prescribed a muscle relaxer and an anti-inflammatory medicine, neither of which heled my pain at all. I went back in two weeks and all he could talk about was a spinal injection. That made things worse. Out

Never meet the man which I find kind of strange. The #1 thing 2 going 2 a PM Dr. is TRUST. Something I have NONE of 4 these folks. I would love 2 have a Medtronics device placed in my back but I prefer to hurt rather than allow them 2 do it. Already approved by ins. but I will wait until I find some1 I I TRUST. Its easier 2 agree with them than B honest about your pain. Seems like they look for reasons to tell you to hit the door rather than show compassion.

The office staff proved to be cold and hateful. I've had cancer which has caused numerous pain problems as my body is breaking down. Every appointment I was treated like a junkie. I left and have found a practice that respects what I've been through. I hated feeling like I was having to justify my misery.

This is the worst doctor I have seen in TN. First of all, he does not see you. He has built a practice with Nurse Pratitioners. He did 2 procedures on me before I even saw him in the office. After months of trying, I finally got an appointment to see him. He was almost an hour late and I rushed through my visit with an attitude. He nor his staff showed any compassion for the pain I am experiencing. He just wants to make money with injections. I would not recommend this dr for antything.

I waited over 6 months to get into pain management, which I need due to a horrible back injury. I explained that my insurance did not cover much and provided genetic testing my PCP had done to show which pain meds I responded best to. Doctor did not listen to any of that, kept me waiting over 1.5 hours and spent 5 minutes with me. Only thing he would do was send me for physical therapy (ins doesn't cover) and possible back injection (also not covered). BEYOND disappointed.

I have found the Staff to be most caring and concerned with my well being. I was referred to Dr. Blake by my PC, who refused to work with me to control and manage my pain. I have multiple areas that create excruciating pain. My PC refused to write any prescription for a controlled substance. Dr. Blake and crew are a God send. My life is returning to normal. My job is great since I am able to do the physical tasks. You can say that Dr. Blake gave me my life back.

Dr. Blake was nice but a bit rushed when talking to me. I liked him. However his surgery scheduling office staff are VERY rude both in person and on the phone when I had to deal with them. The nursing staff were all very good.

I'm still waiting to see how things go . I have a lot of metal in my back. It's sad that people have to go through living like this. Some people in the medical field just don't know what life is. When you're in pain .

I realize working for a Pain Management office would be trying at times. Unfortunately there is patients that are legitimately in pain and not just seeking Pain Meds. With that being said I think Dr Blake's front office staff could be more pleasant and not so rude when checking in. If you do not like your job go elsewhere!!!!!!

Dr Blake has no empathy for pain patients. Refuses to increase meds even though you explain to him that you're in serious pain. I have a pain pump that was installed in 2008 and when I moved to Tennessee I started seeing Dr Blake. He reduce the amount of medication I was getting by 90%. Took away the biggest part of my breakthrough medicine and finally took it away totally. Now I sit here in pain and they do not care. Had a breakdown in the office due to the fact that the PA was completely obtus
