Prepare to feel utterly undignified and overlooked. I gave him a second chance after a terrible previous visit, but now I'm finding a new PCP. He practically ran out of the room to see his next patient while I was still changing - he didn't even point out the exit to me. He recommended a course of treatment that involved pretty intense prescription medication and expensive medical tests rather than a more pragmatic therapy consultation; this is the second time he's referred me to more expensive services than I've actually needed.

Not quite certain why this man chose to go into medicine as his profession. Be very careful if you choose to go see him. The coldness, condescension and lack of urgency regarding the dire state of my health I could perhaps let go of, but his written diagnosis in the Clinical Record Summary was unbelievable. He needs to rethink his “shall do no harm” oath. I have now been properly diagnosed and receiving the treatment I do needed.

I have been Dr. Betz's patient for 3 years. In my opinion, he is conscientious, thorough and always open to questions. He takes my opinions into account when recommending a treatment plan. I never his office with unanswered questions. Recently, I had a frightening, first-time medical experience and was worried that I might've been overreacting. He was very, very supportive during the entire process. As I've gotten to know him, I appreciate very much that he is my primary-care doctor.

I had a terrifyingly traumatic experience with this doctor. I have PTSD and as I was describing my symptoms to Dr. Betz, he suddenly started pounding his fists on the desk, and he exclaimed a profanity as he yelled at me to be more specific and to be quick about describing my symptoms. His hostile conduct triggered a horrendous PTSD flashback. I have never encountered such inappropriate, unprofessional conduct from a health provider as I had from Dr. Betz.
