I am disgusted with this practice. This doctor is an idiot. My son's father goes to him. My son continues to get MRSA staph infections from his father who is a patient of Dr. Bertsch. Dr. Bertsche does not teach him the seriousness of these infectionsites and how to stop the spread of them and and out proper wound care and hygiene, nor about how I spreads. Thank God my son's doctor takes this seriously. But unfortunately, my sons dad listens to this doctor and my son is continually exposed.
Dr. Bertsch is an amazing, compassionate man. He takes time to learn about each patient's circumstances so that he can not only make a correct diagnosis, but develop an appropriate treatment. He listens to questions and explains everything that he does. He has seen both me and my family members through some very difficult circumstances and has always "done right" by us.

I love Dr Bertsch as a doctor, His staff on the other hand are very unfriendly and seem to hate what they do. When I call for a refill, I wait for about a week before it gets to pharmacy ( he approves it right away, its the staff that doesn't call the Rx to pharmacy ) When I call to see why, they are very snotty with me and act like I'm bothering them.

Dr. Bertsch told me I need to "learn more about medicine" (I'm a 2nd grade school teacher) when I called him crying about why they took my mother off her meds for pancreatitis. He then hung up on me. I am appalled that this type of person is ceritified. Very unfortunate.
