I found Dr. Bermingham's tough-guy approach very upsetting. I was scared and rather than reassure me, he chose to belittle and shame me whenever I questioned him on meds etc. (As though I were too stupid to understand). I was not fooled by his passive-aggressive behavior with regard to the big smile he'd maintain while saying something mean. I developed terrible anxiety before appointments with him. It may just be me though...other people seem to find him charming.

I have been a patientof Dr. Bermingham's for a couple of years, he is the reason I am still alive. From the first visit he was very concerned with the difficulty I was having breathing and prescribed a fairly new medication that had been approved by the FDA. A doctor I had been seeing said it was my time to pass. Last year after being released from the hospital with two very serious lung infections one very rare that required the CDC, he called me when he was aware, I was not in his hospitals. .
