Dr. Anderson completed an Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at Duke University. There, he was also Assistant Team Physician to the Duke Basketball and Football teams. Prior to that, he completed a Clinical Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement and also multiple Fellowships in Research, all at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. Dr. Anderson attained his Masters of Science in Clinical and Translational Investigation Degree from Cornell University’s Weill Medical College. He completed Harvard Business School’s Executive Education Program for Leadership Development 2009-2010. His clinical focus is adult arthroscopic knee surgery. He is an Assistant Professor at Thomas Jefferson and his research interest is knee cartilage, particularly biological scaffolds and stem cell therapy. Dr Anderson has Physician Licenses in Pennsylvania and New York. He is a member of several professional societies including: the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society; the Orthopaedic Research Society; the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM); the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA), the International Cartilage Repair Society (ICRS), and the International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR).
