Dr. Rohrbough's bio

This content was provided by Dr. Rohrbough "I am a board certified orthopaedic surgeon and received a fellowship in Sports Medicine. I have been caring for athletes, visitors and residents of Flagstaff for more than 16 years and have enjoyed the journey immensely. I treat most all types of athletic musculoskeletal injuries and conditions that present in the world of Sports Medicine. My passion and areas of specialty lie in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee. When a surgery is arthroscopic, it means I gain access to the damaged area of the joint through tiny incisions. Then, a small camera and tools are used to repair or reconstruct the problem area. I also perform surgery to replace the shoulder and knee joints, known as arthroplasty, with excellent outcomes. I graduated Pepperdine University in Malibu, with a B.A. in Sports medicine, followed by medical school at Loma Linda University in southern California, where I also received my training in orthopaedic surgery. My professional advancement took me to Tucson where I practiced as an orthopaedic surgeon in the U.S. Air Force. In Tucson, I was appointed Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Arizona (UA) School of Medicine, Division of Orthopaedic Surgery. I'm currently practicing alongside Dr. Yuri Lewicky in the Sports Medicine Center at NAO inside the Summit Center. In my free time, I enjoy skiing, waterskiing, rock climbing and cycling with my wife and two children."
