The reverse shoulder replacement recommended by Dr. Hurt turned out to be beyond my belief. Virtually painless and the recovery time was unbelievable. I was given a full release 2 months after surgery. Thank you Dr. Hurt.

I had a substantial shoulder fracture in 2009 and Dr. Hurt was recommended to me by one of my friends that happens to be a doctor as well. Dr. Hurt performed my shoulder surgery, including adding a plate and screws to hold everything in place. Twelve years later, everything is still in great shape. So, when I had an off-set fracture of my left clavicle in July 2021, I immediately recalled my great experience with Dr. Hurt. He was able to schedule me the same day that I called and managed to add me to his busy surgical schedule just two days later. The out-patient procedure to repair my clavicle was a great success and after just several weeks, everything is fully functional and I do not have any pain or restrictions of movement. I recommend Dr. Hurt to everyone that might need orthopedic surgery and I am very grateful for his outstanding skills.

Saw Dr. Hurt for significant knee pain. He correctly diagnosed no ligament tears. Next step was an MRI to get a better picture. That came back squeaky clean. Now, the next step is to remedy the problem through physical therapy. Although we weren't able to identify the problem, he did eliminate several possibilities. Along the way Dr. Hurt did listen to me and tried to understand my symptoms and as well as my own theories which was appreciated.

I was so fortunate to get care for my left wrist injury from Dr Hurt. He knew right away with X Rays the issue and necessary Outpatient surgery to fix it. Wonderful communicator, direct and caring. His staff has been amazing too, able to answer questions honestly and keep the healing moving forward coordinating with PT. Thus was my first ever “surgery” and together his team gave me supportive care all the way through. They handled the COVID changes seamlessly, which started about a week after my surgery.

Dr. Hurt is an excellent surgeon and a very kind person. Four weeks ago he did a total knee replacement on me. I could not be more pleased! My knee feels better than it has in thirty years. I’m back doing water aerobics, hiking and bicycling. Yes, I had to work really hard with my physical therapist, Colleen, to get to this point but it was worth it! I highly recommend Dr. Hurt and his staff for your orthopedic needs.
