I am a retired RN, age 69, who also has rheumatoid arthritis. I went to Dr. Hein after two failed rotator cuff surgeries surgeries by another physician. I could not raise my dominant arm above chest level. He was very familiar with this situation and recommended a reverse shoulder replacement. He listened to all my concerns and explained the surgery thoroughly. He was very open about risk vs benefit and statistics for the procedure. He performs it often and with great success. I had my surgery at Bellin Hospital in July of 2020. Pain was minimal after the first day or two. I only had to wear a sling for two weeks. After that time, I could raise my arm above my head. And I've been able to resume nearly all my pre-injury activities. Dr. Hein is very kind and it's obvious that he really cares about his patients. He follows them very closely and quickly addresses any concerns. I am very grateful to Dr. Hein for giving me a normal life back. I highly recommend him.

Check in/XRays 20 min. The rest was unacceptable. Saw Dr. less than 5 min. Felt I was dealing w/a car salesman. Pointed to xrays, showed the gaps in knees, recommended therapy, said nurse would be right in & left. Nurse came in, handed me a paper for therapy, no names on it, guess we do own research. Then he said the Dr wont need to see me anymore & left. I was in & out in 30 min including travel. All for only $398 after ins. 1mo later was able view dx online, research-still in pain. Horrible!
