I had a colonoscopy April 27, 2018 & it's been 2 weeks with no complications such as soreness or bleeding. The staff was courteous and kind. The doctor consulted with me b4 and after the procedure. I was worried about having the procedure & I would do it again in a heartbeat with this doctor. I used the nonprescription Prep which was inexpensive and worked well. I suggest having aloe baby wipes and Preparation H ointment available during your prep or you will get sore. A++++

Excellent doctor and staff. Scheduling was fast, easy and professional. When my procedure was done I was not treated like a number by Dr. Joel Carlson, MD. I prefer meeting with the doctor not the Physician Assistant.
