Rochester, NY |
Terrible doctor kept me in chronic pain for almost a year when my MRI showed clearly I needed surgical intervention. Would never suggest her to anyone.
in Batavia, NY |
I have seen her 2 or 3 times and find her to be condescending, dismissive, arrogant, and unwilling to listen to you. She pushes what she thinks is an issue, disregards if you state otherwise, and uses cookie cutter treatments to address things. While she claims to be holistic and into fitness and "mindful health coaching" as her side job, with patients she offers up only medications and surgery without even considering treatments in the past. I would not recommend her at all.

I am speechless at the demeanor of this woman. I cannot call her a doctor because in my 50 years a doctor is caring, empathetic, understanding, patient, and respectful of their patients. This is not at all what you will find. My 2nd appt and a followup was a woman on a laptop spewing all the reasons why I am still in pain and blaming me for the situation that I am in rather than working together to develop our next course of action. Needs a dose of humanity!

Saw Joanne Wu with my mom who has a back injury. Notice I didn't place Doctor in front of her name b/c she is my opinion far from a doctor or healer. In fact, Wu is far from a human being b/c she lacks any empathy. This was my mom's 2nd visit with Wu. Wu never introduced herself, never asked my mother how she was doing, never examined her, & chastised us for even being there. She told my mom she didn't want to see her again & provided no help. Keep away from Wu & Unity Spine Clinic.

I an very lucky I have / had a wonderful experience with Dr Wu, and when I am done with my other back fix's? I am thinking I will need to go back to her at some point in my treatment. She has told me up front what was a head of me. And yes I wish I could get my sister down here to see her as we suffer from the same thing.
in Buffalo, NY |
Very caring. Short and to the point. Gets the job done
in Brockport, NY |
very good doctor. beside manner is lacking; not a very nice person.
in Rochester, NY |
Condesending, stern and unfriendly. She was nice in the beginning but seems to be frustrated at me because procedures aren't working. Makes me feel bad when I leave, she just like dismisses me. Very snotty attitude, like she is to good.
