My son fractured his wrist a few weeks ago and we were referred to Dr. Labriola from a friend. Dr Labriola was able to get us in for a visit 2 days later. She was very friendly and explained the details of his situation thoroughly and answered any questions we had. He just had a follow-up appointment and X-ray yesterday and he seems to be healed. We had a great experience and would recommend her to a friend.

I had surgery performed by Dr Labriola on 3/16/18 to fix Ulnar impaction Syndrome and she spent a great amount of time answering questions that my husband and I had. She was caring, thorough, accurate, professional, and considerate.

Rushed through my appointment. Gave me false expectations. Didn't ask if I was employed or give any attention to that aspect of life. Just acted like "all you have to do is this and you're good". Well I'm not good. I'm still in pain. Still can't feel my fingers and her nurse calls to ask if I went to therapy as suggested. First of all, I was told that I would feel better by the following day. Secondly, let's not act like scheduling therapy happens immediately. She gets a 0 in my book.

I recommend Dr. Labriola. She was the only Dr that diagnosis-ed my injury correctly. Long thoracic nerve palsy. I saw her in North Carolina. She was my third opinion. When the injury was diagnosis-ed and treated appropriately I started to see some improvement. I truly wish that I had seen her first as I would not be permanently disabled. The proper diagnosis is the most important item when rating a Dr. I have now seen Three more Dr's and they have all agreed with her diagnosis.

I saw Dr. Labriola 1 year ago (2016) with a rotator cuff tear and Avascular Necrosis (AVN) in my shoulder. She indicated that she had seen a lot of AVN and that is not what I had. She was certain that I had bone cancer even though she was unable to find a tumor on the x-rays or the MRI. Not only was she wrong she had terrible bedside manner. TOTALLY ignored my shock and questions and left me in the office with a referral to see an orthopedic oncologist.

In preparation for and follow up from my first surgery Dr. Labriola was fantastic. I questioned her at length prior to deciding to have her operate. She was communicative about scheduling and very thorough in her explanation of my shoulder tear, surgery procedure, and expectations after surgery. Happily I can report her timeline for expectation of back to my "new normal" was almost exact following 10 months of rehab. She said a year, and I am at 95% of pre surgery range. Would choose her again.

Dr. Labriola was the on call surgeon today 9/11/16 at Hinsdale Hospital. After being told my abcesss on my ankle needed to be drained the doctor angrily entered my room at the hospital, started shouting at me and squeezing my ankle. She said no incision was needed and I asked her to stop repeatedly and she just kept squeezing saying it was superficial. She basically assaulted me and then tried to come back in the room after she had left and I had called for help. She shouldn't be practicing!

I've been there 3 times for the same issue. The diagnosis changes every time I go, when I ask she gets very defensive.I have been diagnosed with arthritis, sprain, and fracture. it changes each visit.I injured my thumb in Sept,it is not getting any better. I have been wearing a thumb guard splint the entire time. My last visit the diagnoses was back to arthritis and wants to operate. I asked if it could be a pulled ligament, she got very defensive.I definitly will research and get a 2nd opinion.
