Dr. Lin has been my OB/GYN for years now. So when she recommended I have a hysteroscopy to remove a 1cm “calcified polyp” because according to her, I wouldn’t be able to get pregnant or I’d have a miscarriage if I did get pregnant, I trusted her and went into surgery. She assured me I’d get pregnant in no time following the surgery. Months went by and I didn’t get pregnant. I demanded she find out what was going on. I had an HSG test done where dye is injected into you and it shows if you have scarring in your uterus. This test showed that my uterus was 50% scarred and my cervix was almost completely scarred shut. How could this be when I was scar free before the surgery? It’s because this incompetent doctor didn’t place a balloon in my uterus to prevent my uterus my fusing together. No, it’s not because of the way my uterus healed as Dr. Lin told me. It’s because she didn’t know what she was doing.
