Dr. Even's bio

This content was provided by Dr. Even "I am a board certified and fellowship trained spine surgeon. I suffered a back fracture in high school and recovered from the injury to go on and become an All-American for Texas A&M University. I understand spine pain and the anguish it causes due to my own injuries. I treat each and every one of my patients like I would treat my own family members. "

"

In response to rocky2 on 3.29.16.  Surgery should not be an option in most patients. There are certain diagnoses that we as spine surgeons can treat very effectively but there are others that will not get better with surgery.  I try to treat every patient as a friend or family member.  I always offer options that are nonsurgical including physical therapy, medications, injections, and encourage other forms of treatment

Dr. Even gave me several options including more steroid injections and some surgical procedures. I opted for surgery. The surgery was a success and I could not be happier...more
